Find out if it's yours: QA X-ray
Sandi Smith / Expert mentor in Databases, Agile, Test documentation
Why do you need a QA-X-Ray?
People have different experiences, personalities, and life goals. Many of them want to change a profession and come to IT, and some of them, to software testing. Somebody read about the profession, watched videos, and got pieces of advice from friends and relatives. But as with any other profession, software testing is not for everybody. On the QA X-ray, we will discuss your personality and experience and then tell if the testing is yours or if some other profession suits you better?
How is the QA X-ray going?
1) 2-3 participants are talking about themselves (live)
2) They answer questions and solve logical tasks
3) The result, in the end, is if the software testing suits our participants
Everything is honest, if this is not your profession, we will tell you.
Participation is free. If you want to participate, write us by any channel.

QA mentor is testing… Tesla website (stream)
Lilia Urmazova / School Founder, Chief QA Expert
As QA mentors, we want to see the most thoughtful, motivated, and generally cool people in testing. But when you just think "Should I maybe try myself in testing?", it's hard to make a decision: after all, the idea of QA work is rather vague.
We close this gap. Together with you, online, we are going to test the functionality of some well-known service.
This is how the stream “QA-mentor is testing…” works:
1. The mentor takes some functionality of the experimental site and studies it. Without having any documentation (as it often happens on real projects), she makes up his own idea of how it should work.
2. The mentor writes a couple of test cases related to the functionality together with you online.
3. Runs ready-made test cases.
4. If something goes wrong - the mentor fills out a detailed bug report.
Participation is free, the stream is available on the YouTube channel.

TextFlix season 1.2: Let's test the dream levels from the "Inception" movie
Lilia Urmazova / School Founder, Chief QA Expert / QA Manager at Quantori (US)
We decided to start a new educational project - TestFlix, a sitcom about testing. We will tell about complicated and not complicated things, test design methods, coverage planning, test tools, and so on, in a format of a sitcom, 40-minutes series on examples of well-known movies. Or a structure of a conference, if it sounds better for you. As always, our events are free and open for everybody, and the announcements are in advance.
Aug, 31 we invite you to the pilot, where Sergey Gerasimov, the head of QA from QuardCode, Cyprus, is starring. The horror pilot will be about how to crash the test coverage even if you are 10+ years of experience specialist. The end is happy… or not?
